tea ceremony and yangming mountain pics

Yangming Mountain National Park 陽明山國家公園 located near Taipei. During the Japanese occupation era of Taiwan, it was known as Datun National Park大屯国立公園.  Seven Star Mountain (七星山, 1,120 m). Yangming  Mountain was originally called Grass Mountain 草山. The first national park was established during the Japanese occupation in 1937.

    wanna wiki

    my take on wiki
    if you would have told me years ago, there was going to be Wikipedia ran by everyone or anyone(even allowing people like me?), and it is editing almost as you read, i would have laughed and said, "i give it a year or two before it folds". well the honeymoon's over, but Wiki is so great that it speaks for itself. and on this little dog-ear page, i too will "try" to contribute what I can. since i use wikipedia for learning myself and i don't give any money donations, the least i can do is keep the other editors busy. wiki is a social-multigroup of all kinds of different people. so remember to be nice, even if the other guys or girls arnt, at least at the end of the day you can say "i have class...".
    Wikipedia is a free, web-based, collaborative, multilingual encyclopedia project supported by the non-profit Wikimedia Foundation. Wiki was launched in 2001 by Jimmy Wales and Larry Sanger and is written collaboratively by volunteers around the world, and almost all of its articles can be edited by anyone with access to the site.     Wiki is a free at your internet figertips up-to-date resource, but is it reliable since anyone can edit? That is the question. That said, (see Wikipedia) is an encyclopedia, not a dictionary this is for (see Wiktionary), which also needs you (see Wikipedia:Wikipedia is not a dictionary). Remember that it is public and we all are editors, if you have an idea that just no other editor will stand with you, graduate from editor to free-lance and become a master"of a homepage" and write your heart out.

    To determine if an article is notable takes someone that knows about the topic and knows how to search for the hit results of the specific case of the term’s definition. While quick search engine results show number of hits, this is not a good way to determine if an article is (see Wikipedia:Notability) notable, or "worthy of notice"; by wiki that is, significant, interesting, or unusual enough to deserve attention or to be recorded. Also notable in the sense of being famous, or popular, but not irrelevant is secondary, and should not be considered. Within Wikipedia, notability is an inclusion criterion based on the encyclopedic suitability of an article topic.

    To write and edit a good article we should be knowledgeable of the topic, but this also gives rise to the notion of unbiased facts and need for a third party opinion that might not be knowledgeable in the field. While the goal of wiki is to be accurate some articles are driven by popular opinion.

After which time an administrator will make a determination, which should be decided by the weight of the argument and not the votes.

    Here it is not always so cut and dry, what might be kept today might not be kept tomorrow, wiki is to a point driven by popular opinion. Here we need experts in the articles, categories, projects in question. Some items might be seen as overspecialized. They diverted energy away from the main genre projects and produced poor quality articles. Inactive articles are sometimes deleted, it would be better to tag it and leave it. This gives visitors a chance to get involved in a needed project.
